NCDFREE is proud to present our latest film Tackling Trauma. The film follows the story of Frank, an asylum seeker in Denmark, who receives both health and social support from a local volunteer run project called Trampoline House.

Exploring the topics of migrational health and NCDs, this film combines two important global health topics, whilst highlighting the need for all humans to have networks.

The screening of the film will be followed by a Q&A with filmmaker Silas Addington and a panel discussion with Katie Dain (NCD Alliance), Celina Gorre (Global Alliance for Chronic Disease) and Miriam Orcutt (UCL Institute for Global Health), exploring the wider issue of NCDs and migrational health.

The event is free to attend and will be held at the Leolin Lecture Theatre, Institute for Child Health, University College London, 30 Guilford Street. The event is held in collaboration with the Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases.

The event was live streamed through Periscope which you can watch again here.
