NCDFREE Innovation Incubator X World Health Assembly

Advocacy for impact – using social media to connect, communicate and create change in NCDs.
After a sensational launch in Melbourne, NCDFREE are bringing the Innovation Incubator to Oslo – our latest event which aims to engage the next generation of leaders from health and beyond.
This 90 minute workshop will showcase the wide variety of activities and concepts which NCDFREE has developed and championed since 2013, specifically focusing on the diverse communication and advocacy tools used to engage young professionals and students in the topics of non communicable diseases and Global Health.
Attendees will leave with enthusiasm on the topic of NCDs and gain practical skills which can be applied to a range of NCD and global health challenges, while becoming connected with a range of dynamic young professionals who are driving social change.
We will connect a diverse group of next generation thinkers and leaders with NCDs, NCDFREE and Global Health through stimulating and exciting activities.
This will lead the way to building capacity within Global Health communications and advocacy around NCDFREE’s activities and global movement.
This session will focus on the theme of childhood obesity, and we have exclusively secured the voices of established leaders in the space who will share their knowledge, skills and experiences. Speakers will be announced on the 9th of May .
This event is held in collaboration with Institute of Global Health, University of Geneva and is free for all to participate regardless of background or university affiliation.
