On September 22 & 23, join NCDFREE as we present our first US advocacy & innovation bootcamp! After more than 30 events spanning five continents and a millennial driven global social movement in full swing, we are returning to one of the places where it all began: Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.

Hot on the tails of the 2017 UN General Assembly, with a forward thinking approach to next year’s High-Level Meeting, this event will bring together emerging & established leaders, researchers, innovators, advocates, and communicators of all stripes to tackle NCDs, inequity, and the ‘poorest billion’ on the planet.

This one and a half day workshop will provide attendees from a range of health and non-health background with the skills, knowledge, confidence, and connections to become agents of change. At the bootcamp, both established and emerging leaders in global health will provide the leaders of tomorrow with sessions and skills in framing ideas, connecting to a team, refining your approach, and enacting change.  Further, attendees are faced with our NCDFREE communication challenge where they must pitch an idea, campaign, or other game changing approach by the end of the bootcamp to put it all together.

To provide our attendees with a challenging, transformative experience we are presenting the bootcamp with health system builder Partners in Health and NCD, poverty, and equity specialists NCD Synergies.  With their collective knowledge and skills we will empower you with the ability to better amplify the voices of the often hidden, the knowledge of both the burdens and solutions, and the opportunity to connect with leaders in the field.  You might just find yourself becoming a part of the leading edge in the global effort to eradicate NCDs!
